75 years of Gladbeck
and a topping-out ceremony to go with it.
Gladbeck, September 15, 2023. It started at 3 pm. In beautiful sunshine and pleasant temperatures, the Gladbeck site started the celebrations for its 75th anniversary and a topping-out ceremony for a new administration building in Bottroper Straße. After the welcoming speech by the Managing Director of BORSIG Membrane Technology GmbH, Mr. Franz Osthoff, the "75 years Gladbeck" speech by the Managing Director of BORSIG GmbH, Mr. Stegger, and the greeting by the Mayor of Gladbeck, Mrs. Bettina Weist, the topping-out ceremony for the new building was celebrated. High up on the scaffolding, right next to the topping-out wreath, a toast was raised to the health of the building. At the end, the Ruhrkohle Choir sang the Steigerlied.
